We have a thriving and lively branch of the Mothers' Union which meets every month on the 1st Tuesday in the afternoon at 2.30, in addition to being involved in work with children at other times. We also have a Prayertime each month, on the third Tuesday morning at 10 am.
On Tuesday 1st June some of us travelled in luxury, courtesy of Colin at Blackburn's limosine, to the Salutation Gardens in Sandwich.
Despite the inclement weather everyone had a good time - the excellent cream tea probably had something to do with it!
Our next Branch meeting is on Tuesday 7th September in Church, at the earlier time of 1pm, when we will be sharing 'food from our childhood' together.
